Frequently Asked Questions

Are your classes suitable for beginners?

I do not have a class specifically for beginners, however if you are new to yoga then I recommend to start with either Slow Flow on Thursday evenings as we move at a slower pace in this class or Restorative yoga on a Sunday evening, however this class requires a deep sense of letting go and ability to sit with ones self . If neither of these times work for you then I will always offer modifications for different levels in every class. I can also work with you privately for you to become familiar with the practice before stepping into a group setting. I understand that starting something new can feel intimidating, I am here to guide you and to make you feel as welcome and comfortable as possible. If you would like to have a call before you start I am more than happy to do so, you can contact me via email and we can arrange a time.

What do I need to bring?

I have mats, blocks and straps. You are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer. I advise to also bring a bottle of water.

What should I wear ?

Comfortable clothing, in which you can move freely. Leggings or loose ankle length trousers with a t-shirt works perfectly. We will practice with bare feet.

Do you have changing rooms or shower facilities?

Oldfield Baptist church - Toilets

Sydney Gardens location - Toilet

When should I arrive ?

I recommend to arrive 5 - 10 minutes before class begins, to take off outer wear and to get settled on your mat.

Is there parking?

Oldfield Baptist church - Streets surrounding the church have free parking from 7pm.

Sydney Gardens - Lots of parking surrounding the park from 2-4 hours free during the day, and free from 7pm.
